Aright, this is going to be my most earnest attempt at blogging thusfar.I'm actually going to circulate this web address so my friends can check it out every now and then, post feedback, yell at me for not posting recently, etc.

Hopefully this will be remotely entertaining. If it's not...well, the internet is a big place, so you can probably go get your jollies somewhere else....what? Am I here to entertain you? Alright then.

First post....first post...what to talk about? Well, moving up to NYC in t-minus 9 days and counting. In case you just stumbled across this website and don't really know me at all, I'm heading up to NYU to get my MA in Political Campaign Management. Actually, this poses a bigger problem for me than one might imagine, You see, I am what one might call a "pure" independent. I have studied American and International Politics for the past four years of my life, taken numerous self-evaluating tests, and been the proud son of both a die hard Republican and an equally committed Democrat. I've got one sister who is a tree hugging, veggie eating, national park dwelling hippie and another who is a six-figure making, shop and sun worshipping, "poor people keep your hands off my money" republican. ( I should add on here that I am immensely proud of both of them and glad I have such strong personalities in my siblings)This leaves me, the last one to escape from the womb and, appropriately, the last to make up my mind about where I stand in the political spectrum. So, in the spirit of the new age of communication I've grown up in, I'm going to tell you my stance on the major issues out there right now. Maybe some niceperson who reads my post will help me figure out what party, if any, I should belong to.
